Microfinance Round Table
On March 12th, the Goldin Institute participated in a round table discussion among Twin Cities community members about how to effectively engage in ethical and sustainable microcredit work. This discussion focused on projects that seek to develop alternative microfinance models. This roundtable was the first of many dialogues which the Goldin Institute has begun to initiate in communities around the world. 2007 Institute Event

Online Courses
The goal of the online courses is not to provide one recommended “Goldin Institute” approach, but rather to provide training and support around a range of possible approaches that are used and refined by participants in the Partner Cities Network. To this end, all of our courses will be developed in cooperation with participants and highlight innovative approaches and strategies.

Travis Interviewed
GI Executive Director Travis Rejman was recently interviewed for a brief film about Michelle Obama. The film, which was aired at the Democratic National Convention, is currently being used as an introduction to Michelle on the campaign trail. Travis was also highlighted in a Washington Post article about Michelle.

7. Deleting an email address from our email list or stopping any further communications.
If you wish to have your email address removed from our contact list, please let us know by e-mailing us at admin@goldininstitute.org and we will take all reasonable steps to remove it, unless we need to keep it for legal reasons.
8. Storage and security of your personal information.
We try to do everything reasonable to keep secure any information that we hold about you and to keep this information accurate and up to date. Access to this information is restricted within our company to employees who have specific authorization. Since no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure, we do not promise that the information you provide to us will always be totally secure.
