In addition to his role as a Facilitator for the Chicago Peace Fellows, of which he is also an Alumni, Tony serves as the Outreach Program Manager at the Alliance of Local Service Organizations (ALSO). Over the last 20 years, Tony has been at the forefront of violence prevention work in the city, leading street outreach violence prevention in West Humboldt Park and West Garfield Park. Tony’s background includes a dynamic creative side; he once worked as an illustrator and short story writer for Windy City Word, which was published on Chicago’s West Side. At ALSO, Tony says that “This work is about changing minds and saving lives.”
