Jessenia is a Business Administration student and a member of the National Volunteer System of Peru since 2019. Jessenia serves as a youth representative in the Afro-Peruvian organization Fuerza por la paz (Strength for Peace), where they advocate for rights and carry out projects that benefit the African population. Additionally, she has engaged in community work with some neighbors to provide food and water to abandoned and neglected animals in her district. Last year, she participated in a development initiative focused on the topic of drugs and sports within the Afro-descendant community in Lima.
