Mahlet is a Peace and Youth Advocate and Trainer. She has more than three years of leadership experience, coaching, advisory, and advocacy work on several programs to make sure the voice of young people are included in global agendas. She works with different regional and international organizations to promote peace, inclusivity, and meaningful youth engagement. She has provided training for thousands on nonviolent communication and holistic development. She has been working with Young Diplomats Organization as an Education Manager which aims to empower and equip youths with the leadership, advocacy, and policy analysis skills to contribute to global goals. Mahlet is also: a Young Global Change Leader’s Fellow with Global Good Will Ambassadors, a Generation Change Fellow of Ethiopia with the United States Institute of Peace, an East African Champion Advocate Fellow with the ONE Campaign and a Incomparable Service Peace Coach Awardee from World Peace Initiatives.
